All our teachers are of English mother-tongue and possess a university degree from an English-speaking country. They have also undergone specialised training in teaching English to adults and have several years’ teaching experience.
But we believe that the human qualities of the teacher are as important as his or her academic qualifications. Dynamism, enthusiasm, patience, good humour, adaptability, an understanding of individual difficulties, the ability to provide varied and entertaining lessons and to create a friendly, relaxed class atmosphere where people are stimulated to talk to one another – these qualities are essential if a teacher is to help students to make maximum progress. Our teachers are there not only to dispense knowledge but also to encourage, motivate, reassure, advise and help every student individually at every step of the learning process.
